October 5, 2014, has been fixed for launch of popular reality TV show, Big Brother Africa, which suffered a set back due to an unprecedented fire outbreak on September 2.
The incident prevented the planned September 7 launch of the show, and its organisers, M-Net and Endemol SA, had to search for a new house.
In statement yesterday, M-Net and Endemol SA said that they are delighted to confirm that a new Big Brother house has been found in Johannesburg, South Africa following the devastating fire that demolished the original house on September 2.
“The search was concluded after exploring all possible options both locally and internationally, for a suitable venue to produce the 9th season of Africa’s biggest reality show. M-Net and Endemol SA are pleased to announce that Big Brother Hotshots will officially be launched on Sunday 5 October AT 19:00 CAT,” the statement read.
As the countdown continues, fans across the continent can look forward to some pleasant surprises in true Biggie fashion.
The producers of the show also thanked fans for all the patience and continuous support over the past few days, assuring them that the season would reward them with all the excitement and thrills it is known for.
