First Consultants was closed and quarantined by the Federal Government on July 26, after the index case (Sawyer) died the day before. The action was in adherence to the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) preventive protocol on the virus. One of those who died was the hospital’s Senior Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, Dr. A. S. Adadevoh.
