Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomole will tomorrow, Tuesday, present to the State House Assembly the 2015 appropriation bill. In a letter to the lawmakers, signed by the secretary to the government, Professor Julius Ihonvbere, Oshiomole sought an early consideration and passage of the budget. He said its timely approval would prevent distractions next year general election may bring to the lawmakers. The Assembly Speaker, Uyi Igbe, noted that Governor Oshiomole’s decision to present the budget early makes him the first governor to do so in the country.
Also, the governor forwarded for approval was the name of Dennis Idahosa, from Ovia South-West Local Council Area, as a commissioner nominee in his cabinet.
