Nigeria international striker Osaze Odemwingie has undergone a successful surgery on his injured knee. The former Lokomotiv Moscow and Cardiff City forward through his Twitter handle reported his surgery, on Tuesday.
"Heard we won and @ Muniesa92 scored twice! What a day and win!! More good news for us potters as MY SURGERY TODAY ALSO WENT WELL!," Odemwingie tweeted.
The half-caste player injured his knee while in action for Stoke City in a 1-0 win at Manchester City on 30 August. The striker lasted 15 minutes in the game. He will not return to the pitch for most part of the EPL season until his full recovery. Last season, Osaze scored six goals in 15 games for Stoke City.
