…I can do the same miracles as he - Mboro
A controversial South African pastor, Paseka Motsoeneng, has challenged Nigeria’s ‘miracle-working’ pastor, Temitope Joshua, claiming to possess the same healing power as he.
Motsoeneng, also known as Mboro, told a South African online medium, Sowetan Live, that the deaths of South Africans in the Synagogue church would have been averted, if his countrymen believed and promoted local pastors enough. “They would get the same help from me; I visit people in hospitals, I am the only famous prophet who prays and rebuilds houses that are ruined,” Mboro says.
Mboro, a televangelist and owner of Incredible Happenings Ministeries, also volunteered to donate to family of the victims.
He reportedly said: “I feel I must contribute to these families who are left with financial burdens.
I would like to help the 70 families affected by giving each household R10 000. I just don’t know how to reach them.”
Mboro, a celebrity preacher in South Africa, has overtime been embroiled in different controversies, including alleged molestation of women and girls. A petition by the Sonke Gender Justice and People Opposing Women Abuse was submitted to the South African Rights Commission in 2011 on the said abuse.
