Adegoke Odukoya popularly known as Ade Bantu has shaved his dreads after 23 years.
The Nigerian-German musician cum producer posted a photograph of his new look on his facebook wall and wrote "After 23 years I decided it was time to let go and move on. It wasn't easy, but hey the only constant in life is change and sometimes we must embrace it fearlessly."
He is known as the founder of the Afro-German musical collective and a Non-Governmental Organisation, NGO, Brothers Keepers.
He is also the lead man of Bantu & Afrobeat Academy Band. He received the Kora Award (the Pan-African equivalent of the Grammy) for his album "Fuji Satisfaction" in 2005.
