Beer Parlour Owner Gang Raped By Seven Customers

handcuffA beer parlour owner, named Joy (surname withheld) in Nasarawa State was gang-raped by seven of her patrons. Joy said the boys visited her shop, located on Abuja street, in Lafia, and drank till late hours before she closed her shop, after which they offered her a ride to her house. Rather than do so, they reportedly drove her to the home of one of them, Mohammed Sulaiman, where they took turn to have sex with her. She reported the incident to the Police the next day and the suspects were arrested. Nasarawa State Police Commissioner, Yakubu Mohammed, told journalists the men “had sexual intercourse without her (Joy) consent.” He also said the Police under his watch have arrested some other suspects who have a habit of defiling minors.

“The Police Command is therefore using this medium to appeal to the general public to report any case of rape/defilement/incest to the nearest Police Station so as to curb this condemnable act,” Mohammed said.
