Eyewitness account says corpses, mostly women and children, were picked from the streets on Wednesday. Similarly, two young men were killed Tuesday night by the same Fulani herdsmen at Bukan Allu village in Lafia Local Government Area. The village head, ASP Audu Abashi, retd, named Danlami Akaebe, 40, and Monday Iliya, 20, as victims of Tuesday attacks. He said he ignored an earlier warning on the incident, thinking it was a rumour. Abashi said another victim was hospitalised at Tudum Amba area after he was shot in the leg. Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Ismaila Numan, confirmed the killing of the two persons but declined to make any comment on the Kompany attack.
