Local hunters in Adamawa State have vowed to send Boko Haram insurgents packing from territories under their control in the state. Young Moris, who spoke on behalf of the hunters, said they would liberate Michika and Madagali from the grip of the terrorists and ensure that residents returned to their homes safe and secured. He said the state government has not sufficiently supported them with mobility and feeding, while admonishing politicians not to sabotage the efforts of the gallant hunters. Efforts by the hunters has led to the recovery of hitherto lost territories, including Mubi and Michika, from the Boko Haram insurgents .
The rampaging insurgents were suspected to have masterminded the bombing of over 40 people, who include five soldiers, on Thursday, around Mararaba-Mubi area of the state.
