Re-instated coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Stephen Keshi has expressed strong confidence in the ability of his team to defeat their Congolese counterparts, when both teams clash at the Stade Municipal, Point-Noire Congo, on Saturday in a must win 2015 African Cup of Nations, AFCON qualifier. The Nigerian team must pick the three points at stake if they must have a chance of qualifying for the tournament and Keshi is sure of victory come Saturday. He assured football loving Nigerians that his wards will make the country proud by returning with the three points because they are aware of the task ahead of them. It may be an unachievable feat to some but the former skipper of the team “I am sure we will win. We have done everything on our part. Now we just have to ask Nigerians to pray for us.” On whether the Eagles will have problems playing on the artificial turf on Saturday he said the Eagles will have no problems. “We know what to expect. It’s never an easy thing and that is why I left out Victor Moses from this trip because he’s just recovering an injury, all the boys I selected are warriors who will fight to death on Saturday,” he assured. Keshi took charge of the team’s final training session before departure, on Thursday but the media was shut out.
