President Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday at the Eagles Square, Abuja formally declared his intention to seek re-election in the 2015 general elections under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP. The former governor and deputy governor of Bayelsa State urged Nigerians to remain united as PDP would continue to provide the country with qualitative administration, if he is re-elected. Jonathan enumerated some changes he would effect if re-elected. He informed the gathering that there would be reforms in the power sector. He added that 60 million naira has been set aside for the rehabilitation of victims of terror in the north eastern part of the country. The former university lecturer described as unfortunate the killing of over 40 students by a suicide bomber in Potiskum, Yobe State on Monday.
