Six military commanders of the Nigeria Army have been detained following their refusal to confront the dreaded Islamic-sect, Boko Harama in Mubi Adamawa State, military authorities have said.
The soldiers fled last Wednesday after the terrorists arrived the area, among those they are being detained are Colonel Ibrahim and Colonel Magaji, while identities of others are yet to be revealed.
Another set of soldiers who are currently recuperating at MRS Hospital in Yola, are also said to have fled the battle scene in Mubi, and will be detained after their release. The vehicle in which they were travelling was involved in an accident as they were leaving. Meanwhile reports say over 300 soldiers fled the scene.
