A former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, has won the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential primaries being held at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos. Although, counting of ballots is still continuing, Buhari is leading the other candidates with over 2,000 votes as at the time of filing this report. He clearly defeated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who polled 954 votes, and crushingly trounced two other aspirants, Rochas Okorocha and Sam Nda-Isaiah, who garnered fewer votes than the others. Buhari at the end of counting polled 3,430 votes, Governor Rabiu Kwankwanso of Kano State was got 974 votes, Atiku followed with 954 votes. Okorocha came fourth with 624 votes. Nda-Isaiah had 10.
