Ebola Crisis: Sierra Leone Cancels Christmas, New Year Celebrations

ebola-patientEbola-ravaged Sierra Leone has banned festivities at Christmas and the New Year. Soldiers are to be drafted to the streets to ensure compliance from the people and to keep them indoors. Sierra Leone, with over 8,000 cases and some 1,900 deaths, has the most cases of Ebola in the current outbreak in West Africa. Sierra Leone overtook Liberia as the country with the most cases in December based on World Health Organization, WHO, figures.
