Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, said the federal government has initiated a 30-year National Integrated Infrastructure Master Plan worth N485 trillion. Mohammed said the project would accelerate development and provide employments.
The project “will demand the building of a critical mass of capacity of about 33 million jobs in all these fields, among others, to deliver to Nigerians,” Mohammed said.
Power, Oil and Gas, Transportation, Housing, Water, Agriculture, Social Infrastructure, ICT and the FCT, Mohammed stated, are areas been focused on for the project actualisation.
He spoke at the 12th convocation ceremony of Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State, where he was honoured with a doctorate degree, at the weekends.
