Mourinho Hails Mikel Over Impressive Display

Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel Obi has been commended by Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho after his impressive display in an English Premier League, EPL game against Hull City at the weekend.
The former Lyn Oslo player had 89 per cent pass accuracy and started his second EPL game of the season in the 2-0 win.
He was involved in ‘The Blues’ first goal when he won the ball off a challenge in the midfield against compatriot Sone Aluko.
“John Mikel Obi also had a very positive performance. Once more a big player for us didn’t play this time Cesc Fabregas – and the people who replaced him assumed responsibility,” Mourinho remarked.
Mikel was in the starting team to replace Fabregas, who was suspended following a yellow card in the loss against Newcastle United.
He was impressive during the week in a 3-0 win over Sporting Lisbon where he also scored his first- ever UEFA Champions League goal.
