Protests Greet Shooting Of Another Teenager In Missouri, U.S.

APphoto_Police Shooting MissouriThere has been protest in at St Louis, Missouri, United States, following the shooting to death of a black teenager, identified as Antonio Martin. The incident occurred within five miles of where another black teenager, Michael Brown, was killed by a white officer in Ferguson last August.

According to the police, the 18-year old man drew a gun at the police officer, leading to his being shot. A weapon was said to have recovered a gun from the scene, while a second man fled the scene. The victim’s mother, Toni, said she did not think he was armed, and accused the police of “messing” with her son and a friend.

Policemen were reported to have pepper-sprayed protesters who gathered at a mobile gas station, close to the scene.

A report by the Guardian said the Police are under pressure to release surveillance footage of the incident, which they may do at a press conference coming shortly before this report.
