Publisher, Ovation Magazine and one time presidential aspirant of the National Conscience Party, NCP, Dele Momodu has named former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu as being responsible for the delay by the All Progressives Congress, APC, in picking a running mate for its presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari. Momodu tweeted Monday night: “From the SS comes Adams Oshiomole and Rotimi Amaechi, who are both formidable but Tinubu is insisting on SW, according to sources.” The choice of an acceptable running mate to Buhari has become a hard nut for the party to crack. Earlier reports say Buhari has conceded the choice of his vice presidential candidate to Tinubu, who worked tirelessly to deliver votes from southwest delegates to ensure he emerged as the party’s flagbearer at the party convention held last week in Lagos. Lai Mohammed, APC National Publicity Secretary, told Newsbreak Sunday that the party would meet on the issue on Monday[today]. Many are anxious to see how the party will resolve this conundrum.
