Its Boxing Day and foremost humour merchant, Alibaba, has decided to give out free tickets for his upcoming comedy show titled, Alibaba’s January1st Concert. Alibaba, via Twitter, said, “MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! AND IN THE SPIRIT OF THE SEASON, I WANT TO GIVE A COUPLE OF TICKETS AWAY.”
Using the hashtag #WhyYouDeserveAticket, Alibaba promoted the show, which has an recognition awards for six Nigerian pioneers. Other event flow are “12 comedians roast/toast selected people in 2014”; 12 comedians review major events in 2014, and music. In the disc jockey box for the event are veteran DJ Jimmy Jat, DJ Case. and billionaire Femi Otedola’s disc jockeying daughter, DJ Cuppy. The comedy shows comes up at the Expo Hall of the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island.
Real name, Atunyota Alleluya Akporobomerere, Alibaba is reputed to have brought glamour and fame to comedy in Nigeria. Alibaba, who has multiple awards for his endeavour, and will turn 50 next June, is regarded as innovative and a top-in-the-range comedian. True to this widely held belief, Alibaba some years ago advertised through ginant billboards in upscale Victoria Island that
