Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2015 general elections, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari has said he would tackle the security challenges facing the country and also create employment opportunities if elected.

He said: “The fundamental issues facing this country are insecurity and the problem of economy which is being made worse by corruption. I assure you that we are going to finally assemble a competent team of Nigerians to efficiently manage this country.’’
He also commended the Director-General of his campaign organisation and also Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, for already doing a good job. Buhari added that the way he had mobilised supporters for the lunch of the APC campaign was an indication that the party made the right choice in making Amaechi the head of the campaign organisation.
