Collection Of PVCs To End 8 February – INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that the collection of Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) which is going on in all the electoral wards in Nigeria will end 8 February, less than a week before the 2015 general elections start.

Dr Okey Ezeani, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of INEC,  Cross River Stateinformed Thursday while interacting with members of the Inter Agency Advisory Committee on Voter Education (SICVEP).

He said with the introduction of the PVC for the conduct of the 2015 general elections, Nigerians would own the elections and determine its outcomes.
Ezeani assured that the election would be free, fair and devoid of violence.
