President Goodluck Jonathan will Friday, travel to his hometown, Otuoke, Bayelsa State for the funeral rites of his younger sister, Nancy Jonathan-Olei, who died on 4 January 2015.
The remains of the deceased will leave the Otuoke Comprehensive Hospital Mortuary same day, for her residence according to a statement issued by Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to Jonathan (Media and Publicity).
Jonathan-Olei’s remains will be received by members of her family, it will then be taken to the Dame Patience Jonathan Square for a service of songs. The funeral service will hold at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, her remains will then be interred. The deceased is survived by children, grand-children and siblings.
