Ahead of the Capital One Cup semi-final clash with Liverpool tonight, Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, has said he was not impressed by Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling in the first leg at Anfield last week. Raheem scorer of Liverpool’s goal in the 1-1 draw, was lustily praised by the media and pundits. Mourinho, however, was less than impressed, suggesting that the Liverpool star does not need special attention in today’s game. “He scored a fantastic goal but I didn’t see too much more than that. I think Chelsea played very well defensively. In that action (of scoring) he was fantastic,” Mourinho said.
His team enter tonight’s game on home soil, locked level on the scoreboard with Liverpool after the two sides played up a thrilling 1-1 stalemate at Anfield last Tuesday.
Eden Hazard gave Chelsea an 18th minute lead after converting from spot before Sterling replied with a stunning solo goal just before the hour mark.
