NIM To Sponsor Nigerian Youths Abroad For Training

The Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM) said it would sponsor selected Nigerian youths from all the Local Government Areas, LGAs to Judge Business School, Cambridge University, United Kingdom, to undergo week long training on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development.

The NIM, in a statement by its President and Chairman of Council, Nelson Uwaga said the reason for sending the youths abroad is to reduce the rising unemployment rate in the country.

Uwaga according to the statement said: “In order to achieve this laudable initiative, the Institute intends to sponsor Nigerian youths from all the Local Government Areas of the Federation to Judge Business School of Cambridge University, United Kingdom, to undergo week long training on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development over the next few months”.

He further stated that the theme of the forum will be delivered by Dr. Nelson Olatunji Olaniyi, the Senior Advisor/Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Africa Business Roundtable while Dr. Christopher Kolade, a Past President of NIM will chair the event.
