WhatsApp Debuts On Desktop Computers

Users of popular messaging app,WhatsApp, may now be able to activate it on their desktop computers. Its founder Jan Koum announced the development on his Facebook page.

Koum’s post reads: “The web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device. This means all of your messages still live on your phone. Unfortunately for now, we will not be able to provide web client to our iOS users due to Apple platform limitations.”

WhatsApp was founded in 2009 by two former Yahoo employees, and was bought over by Facebook in February 2014 for $19 billion.
