NDLEA Declares Anambra’s Drug Baron Wanted

drugThe  Anambra State Command of the National Drug  Law Enforcement Agency has declared a suspected drug baron, Uche Baron, wanted.

NDLEA Commander, Sule Momodu, at a press briefing Tuesday, said Baron is the highest distributor of Indian hemp in Anambra State and its environs. Momodu said Baron owned an Indian hemp warehouse at the Onitsha Main Market. He added that the fleeing Baron escaped arrest on August 20. He was believed to have been tipped off by one, Ugochukwu Chukwu, in-law. Momodu said Chukwu was eventually arrested.

Momodu said 109.8 kg of the drug was recovered. He is asking the public for information that may lead to Baron’s arrest.
