Ten people have died, among many others who went missing, after a fishing boat upendedoff South Korea’s southern coast, maritime officials told Associated Press, on Sunday. Coast officials said three people with injuries were rescued and flown to a hospital. Dozens of ships have launched a search for survivors. The 9.8-ton boat, Dolphin, was reported to have lost communication with another boat on Saturday evening and was found Sunday morning north of the resort island of Jeju. Strong waves was said to be the cause of the accident, in which most of the 22 passengers were on a fishing trip. Officials said four of the passengers named in the manifest did not make the trip.
