Ayodele Fayose, Ekiti state governors, appeared to have developed a way of keeping himself in the news by either knocking President Muhammadu Buhari or simply making him a topic. In a tweet Friday, Fayose says that he actually loves the president. "one thing I want you all to realise today is this... I love PMB, people think I hate him but I don't Democracy is founded on opposition", Fayose, through GovAyoFayose, tweeted. The Ekiti governor had only in the week pilloried the president for allegedly pursuing a selective anti-corruption war, while shielding his party men. In a statement last week, Fayose's media aide, Lere Olayinka, picked holes in the asset declaration of the president. Fayose, while jabbing Buhari, said he would rather openly declare all his assets than declare mud houses (Buhari had declared inherited mud houses) to deceive the gullible.
