Boko Haram: Army Seizes Vehicle Loaded With Fuel, Drugs

The directives to troops in the northeast to stop and search thoroughly motorists and cargoes seems to be yielding positive fruits already.

The Nigerian Army has intercepted and arrested some kingpins and foot soldiers of the dreaded islamist group, boko haram in Yobe State. In a statement by the 3 Division Nigerian Army, the army said that the arrested men were conveying hard drugs and fuel believed to be for boko haram.

The statement also said, due to the hard drugs in use by the terrorists, it is not an islamic group as Islam prohibits the consumption of hard drugs except for medicinal uses.

Boko Haram has killed over 15,000 people an displaced 2.1 million others since 2009.(Times Live)
