Migrant In Australian Detention Centre Sets Self On Fire

A migrant being held at an Australian detainee centre is in critical condition after setting himself on fire. A report on Wednesday in Sydney said the 40-year-old man wrapped himself in a sheet, doused it with lighter fluid and lit set it on fire. According to the report, the security guards had noticed the fire, put it out and flew the man out of the facility for medical attention after he sustained burns from the fire. The department, in the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre, 100 kilometeres north of Perth in Western Australia, said the migrant and two detention service providers who assisted him are currently receiving treatment.
