NAFDAC Unconvers Expired Drugs Worth N25m In Warri

National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has confiscated drugs worth over N25 million at Igbudu market, Warri. The drugs are said to be expired and banned substances.

The operation also sealed 15 shops and arrested three traders.

The Chief Regulatory Officer, Enforcement Operation of NAFDAC in Lagos, Uche Chidi, who led the operation also promised that  the agency would carry out periodic surveillance and inspection of the market to prevent the sale of expired and banned drugs.
