NNPC Signs Agreement To Boost Supply Refined Petroleum Products

NNPCThe Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), says it signed on Wednesday an interim Offshore Processing Agreement (OPA) with three joint venture companies, namely Duke, Carlson, and Napoil oil companies. Ohi Alegbe, NNPC’s group general manager, Group Public Affairs Division, said the three-month agreement was signed to sustain prevailing unimpeded supply and distribution of petroleum products in the country. During the agreement’s lifespan, NNPC will allocate a certain volume of crude oil within the period for refining at offshore locations.
