The police on Wednesday, arraigned a businesswoman, Lynda Andy in a Lugbe Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja over alleged mischief.
Andy, 39, of Tundun-Wada village Lugbe, is standing trial on a one-count charge of mischief.
The prosecutor, Anigbo Paul told the court that one Obah Clement of same address, reported the matter at Lugbe Police Station on Sept.21.
Paul said that the complainant claimed that the accused went to his site at Tundun-Wada village and destroyed his blocks.
He put the cost of the blocks at N66, 750, adding that during police investigation, the accused confessed to committing the crime.
The accused, however, denied committing the offence in the court.
Senior Judge Gambo Garba, granted her bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
He adjourned the case till Sept. 29 for further hearing. (NAN)
