Federal Government has resolved to borrow N600billion monthly to pay workers' salaries. President Muhammadu Buhari, who was represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Engr. David Lawal Babachir made this statement at the 63rd General Church Council Meeting of Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) held in Jos.
Babachir said that States are likely going to have difficulties in paying salaries in the next four months as federal allocation is not enough to fund the payment.
He, however, urged all faith-based organizations and traditional institutions to sensitize the citizens on the need to exercise patience as the present administration is working on ways to solve the problem.
