Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that 20-year-old midfielder, Marko Grujic suffered memory loss after a clash with Chelsea's Traore during a friendly match on Thursday. The former Red Star Belgrade player was subbed off after the clash and had to be taken to hospital after it was noticed he could not remember anything.

"The biggest problem for me in this moment is that Marko Grujic is in hospital, because he can't remember anything," he told the media. "That's not too cool.

"Hopefully it's not too serious but of course a young boy in this situation is not too cool.

"Injuries after games like this in pre-season is the biggest problem obviously."

Liverpool went on to lose by 1-0 to Chelsea in the match after defender Gary Cahill scored a 10th minute header. The loss is the Reds first in their pre-season tour.

Meanwhile the Liverpool manager has said he was unsure if the Reds would add any further signings this summer. The club have already signed Sadio Mane, Ragnar Klavan, Lorius Karius, Joel Matip, Alex Manninger, Geroginio Wijnaldum in the current transfer window.
