By Adebayo Williams

The Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, has assured workers in the state that their jobs are safe despite the recession currently ravaging the country’s economy. Ayade, represented by his deputy, Iyara Esu, made this known at the opening ceremony of a three-day workshop for heads of gender desks in ministries, departments and agencies in the state.

He said it was part of the reason the Calabar Garment Factory was established to engage the teeming population of unemployed youths in the state.
