Nigeria’s beach soccer team have been drawn with Ghana, Cote d’Ivoire and Egypt in Group A of the 2016 Africa Cup of Nations. The tournament will be hosted by Nigeria from 13th to 18th December. Madagascar, Liberia, Morrocco and Senegal were placed in Group B
The draw ceremony, which held at the CAF Headquarters, Cairo had the secretary general Hicham Al Amrani and representatives of the eight participating countries in attendance. The finalists will qualify to represent Africa at next year’s Fifa Beach Soccer World Cup in Bahamas.
Nigeria will begin their campaign against Egypt in Group A, while reigning champions Madagascar face Libya.
