Chelsea’s Fabregas, Azpilicueta Left Out Of Spain’s Squad

By Adebayo Williams

Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilicueta have been left out of the Spain national team to face Italy and Albania in next month’s World Cup qualifiers.  Fabregas has not been particularly a favourite of new coach Julen Lopetegui as the former Barcelona man has been left out of the squad since his appointment as coach.

Meanwhile, Napoli’s Callejon has caught the eye of the coach after his impressive start to the season, five goals in six appearances. Real Madrid’s Isco also returns to the team although he had played just a few minutes for Madrid this season. Paco Alcacer and Dortmund’s Marc Batra are left out.
