A Nigerian striker has run into trouble at his European club for falsifying his age. The forward, Victor Emenayo, who played for SC Villa of Uganda before his move to Azerbaijani side, Shahdagh Qusar. Emenayo has been found to be 40-years-old and not 23 as shown on his international passport. The club had discovered he spent years playing for his Ugandan club and should be around 28-years-old judging by his official age before moving to the Qusar. The club also concluded he had more than one passport in his possession and his looks suggest he is well over 40.
Social media users have been poking fun at the player saying he looked older than the team’s coach, Adil Mahmudov. Emenayo and his representatives have been silent on the issue.
