Phyno, Nigga Raw Pay Tribute To Late MC Loph

Indigenous Rappers, Phyno and Nigga Raw have paid their last respect to late singer Obiajulu Kenneth Nwaozor, popularly called MC Loph, who passed on September 14, 2011.

Yesterday marked the fifth anniversary since the Nigerian music industry lost the singer who made wave with his hit tracks like Osita Osadebe’s ‘Osondi Owendi’.

MC Loph, was said to be driving down to the East along the Benin-Ore road when his car crashed on Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

According to Phyno’s tweet on Wednesday, “Rip Big Hommie… You Inspire”.

Also, Nigga Raw also tweeted, “Logidi Loph….It’s been 5 years since you left this wicked world. my brother – my friend”.

He was in the company of his sister and fiancée, who would have become his bride just a few days after. His bride-to-be survived the accident while his only sibling died.

He was buried on Friday, October 28, 2011 with his sister Chinwe at his family’s compound in Ugwuaro, Anambra State.

The rapper was with his sister and fiancee, the latter being the sole survivor from the accident

Mc Loph, known to rhyme in Igbo, started rapping from his secondary school days in the East. He attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
