Tottenham Hotspur’s hot prospect Bamidele Jermaine “Dele” Alli has signed a six-year extension to his contact at White Hart Lane. The England international will be at the club till 2022. He is now set to earn £55,000-a-week and has expressed delight at the conclusion of the deal.
“I’m happy to be here, playing at Tottenham,” said Alli, speaking to Spurs’ official website.
“Personally, I can’t think of anywhere better, with the fans, the manager we’ve got here and the young team – it’s a great place to be.”
He signed for Tottenham Hotspur in February 2015 for an initial fee of £5 million, being loaned back to the Dons for the remainder of the season. In his first full campaign at White Hart Lane, Alli was voted thePFA Young Player of the Year. He was ranked 8th in Gazzetta dello Sport best 50 footballers under-20. Alli played for the England U17, U18 and U19 teams. He made his senior debut in 2015 and was selected for UEFA Euro 2016.
