Come September 21, 2016, the US Department of Agriculture, USDA, West Africa will be collaborating with Nigerian distributors of U.S. wine to host Nigerian agricultural stakeholders.
USDA said the event will also bring an opportunity to showcase and taste U.S. wine brands in Nigeria.
The wine tasting event, which holds at Colonades Hotel, Alfred Rewane road, is expected to showcase wine brands from U.S. wineries and exporters seeking to do business in Nigeria.
Organisers of the wine tasting event said that the it will give Nigerians distributors a good platform to welcome wineries and exporters who intends to enter the Nigerian market.
David Wolf, the new USDA’s Regional Agricultural Counselor for West Africa will be introducing to Nigerian agribusinesses and other agricultural stakeholders during the event.
First-hand information of his agenda for agricultural collaborations in Nigeria will be pronounced at the event. Other U.S. Mission (Nigeria) senior officials will also be attending along with members of the Nigerian business community. This will mostly offer attendees the opportunity to interact, network and hunt for business information that will shape and re-shape their business strategies at this time of change.
