Ex-Katsina governor Ibrahim Shema is currently with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, interrogators. Shema had earlier been declared wanted by the EFCC, after he reportedly spurned invitation for questioning.
Oluwabusola Olawale, Shema’s spokesman, said the former governor turned himself in “even though the agency has not been fair to him in handling his case”.
Olawale said Shema arrived at the EFCC headquarters around 9:30 a.m. Friday.
The spokesman says Shema “is a law abiding citizen who has absolutely nothing to fear.”
