Zambia’s coach Wedson Nyirenda has released a 33-man provisional squad for their World Cup qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles. The list has Lille’s defender Stopilla Sunzu and Patson Daka of Power Dynamos top Chipolopo’s list as Christopher Katongo and Felix Katongo were ignored. The squad boosts of nine foreign-based players and 24 home-based players. Zambia welcome the Super Eagles to the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, Ndola on October 9 in their first Group B fixture.
