A man has been electrocuted to death by a high tension wire while on duty at Azu-Ugwu in Abakaliki local government area of Ebonyi State.
The deceased, named Adolphus Ogodoali, 30, who was a carpenter, was taking measurement of rafters in a building undergoing construction.
Ogodoali’s measurement tape was reported to have made contact with the high tension wire close to the roof, which electrocuted him to death.
Ebonyi Police spokesman, DSP George Okafor, confirmed the story.
