Abducted Lagos Students Regain Freedom

The six people kidnapped from the Lagos State Model College, Epe, Lagos have regained freedom. They were released around 10:35pm on Tuesday. It was gathered that some money was paid to the kidnappers as ransom before the release was effected.

Vanguard reports that a family had paid the kidnappers N1 million for their ailing child to be released. It further said that the deal was struck by a family member and the kidnappers. The money was said to have been dropped at an undisclosed designated place.
