An angry domestic worker has allegedly killed her boss by stabbing her to death during a fight over her salary. The murder happened in Lonehill, Joburg, South Africa.
After killing her, the worker left the body in the house with the boss’ two children, aged four and nine.
“We cannot yet reveal the identity of the suspect or the victim as the investigation is underway,” Maja said.
David Foley, councillor for ward 94, said residents are urged to employ people with ID documents so that they can be traced in such circumstances.
“Employers and employees must also learn to sit down and talk so that fatalities can be avoided.”
Social development MEC Nandi Mayathula-Khoza said her department assisted the traumatised children.
“We organised for them to be united with other family members, including their father. The department also organised for the body to be moved.”
