Bird ‘Attacks’ Fenerbahce’s Plane

The plane carrying Fenerbahce’s players and officials to England to face Manchester United in the Europa League had to make an emergency landing in Budapest after a bird attacked the plane midair. The plane’s windshield was damaged in the attack forcing the pilot to land the plane. The club confirmed the incident on its Twitter account.

“The plane taking our team and staff to Manchester made an emergency landing in Budapest due to a bird striking its windshield.

“There is not an alarming situation as of now, ” the club tweeted.

The players and officials had to be flown in another plane after they were delayed for around one-and-a-half hours.
