The Enugu State Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has shifted the reception to celebrate the Premier League triumph of Rangers to Friday. The venue, however, remains the Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu, where injured striker Ifeanyi Egwim in being treated. The decision was confirmed by the team’s spokesman Foster Chime on Monday.
“The governor wants the reception to be a holistic one. He wants everybody associated at one time or the other with the club to be part of it,” Chime said.
“It is an event that the governor wants to showcase the fact that the club have done well to win the league after 32 years.
“As we speak, a six-man planning committee including the commissioner for sports, Charles Ndukwu, and others.”
