Jose Mourinho has shunned training with his Manchester United squad after they were beaten by Chelsea last weekend at Stamford Bridge. Reports say the Portuguese tactician has been sitting in his office from where he watches the sessions. His assistant, Rui Faria, has been in charge of training the players.
The decision is said to have come in the wake of the side's terrible bashing in the hands of Antonio Conte's men. The team's Wednesday League Cup clash with rivals, Manchester City, is said to have made no difference in Mourinho's handling of his stars.
The Times say the former Chelsea boss has hinted that his new method will last longer than earlier feared.
